Summer signing Igor Thiago scored twice in Saturday's pre-season friendly win over Wimbledon - a game in which Stuart Armstrong was given a chance to impress on trial - and Frank insisted he would enjoy the "very positive challenge" of having both Thiago and Toney next season.

Brighton are reported to have rejected an £8m offer from Napoli, managed by former Chelsea and Tottenham boss Antonio Conte, for Scotland midfielder Billy Gilmour. The 23-year-old made 41 appearances last season, including 24 Premier League starts, and still has two years left on his contract.
