Bournemouth owner Bill Foley appears confident Dominic Solanke, who scored 19 Premier League goals in 2023/24 - will remain with the Cherries this season, although contingency plans have been drawn up. "I believe Dom is going to be with us this coming year. He has a release clause, which is very expensive," Foley told BBC Sport. "We shouldn't reveal anything about the contract but that area [reported £65m] sounds roughly correct. I guess if someone comes for him, we are going to have to replace him. We have two or three candidates that we have lined up. But I believe Dom will be here next year and I believe he is going to score 21 or 22 goals."

Chelsea have completed the signing of 19-year-old left-back Caleb Wiley, who will be representing Team USA at the Paris Olympics, from Atlanta United on a six-year deal with the option of another 12 months. it is reported that he will go on loan to Ligue 1 side Strasbourg, where he is expected to be joined by midfielder Andrey Santos.
