AC Milan are reported to have tabled an offer of £12.8m plus add-ons in their bid to acquire right-back Emerson Royal from Tottenham. Ange Postecoglou has also revealed there is a future for defender Djed Spence, who had been linked with a move to Genoa, at Spurs, saying "there's an opportunity for him here".

Chelsea

Chelsea have joined the race for Celtic's Matt O'Riley - with Atalanta having already made offers for the midfielder - as they plan for the possible departure of Conor Gallagher, having agreed a £34m deal with Atletico Madrid for the England international.

Southampton

With Russell Martin having revealed Fabio Carvalho is a "player we have liked for a while", it is perhaps no surprise that Southampton have made a £15m bid for the 21-year-old, having previously tried to sign him in January. Liverpool have rejected the offer.

Arsenal

Reports in Spain suggest European Championship-winning midfielder Mikel Merino is keen on a move to Arsenal. The Real Sociedad man has one season remaining on his contract with the San Sebastian outfit and could move to the Emirates for a fee of approximately £30m.

Fulham

Fulham have completed the £6.7m signing of Spanish defender Jorge Cuenca from Villarreal. The 24-year-old, who can play either at centre-back or left-back, has put pen to paper on a four-year contract at Craven Cottage.

Chelsea

Chelsea are reportedly in talks with Napoli in a bid to bring Victor Osimhen to Stamford Bridge. The Nigerian stiker could head to west London in a deal which would see Romelu Lukaku move to Naples. Osimhen was left out of Napoli's squad for Saturday's 2-0 friendly defeat to Spanish outfit Girona.

Manchester City

Atletico Madrid are reported to be in talks with Manchester City over a £59m move for striker Julian Alvarez, despite having completed the signing of Alexander Sorloth from Villarreal. The Premier League champions though are said to be wanting at least £70m for the Argentina forward, with up to £20m in add-ons.

Chido Obi-Martin has agreed a deal with Manchester United with the 16-year-old set to undergo a medical, although the Red Devils have reportedly failed in a double bid for more senior targets, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui, from Bayern Munich.

Fulham

Fulham are closing in on the completion of the move for Villarreal defender Jorge Cuenca, with the centre-back having completed a medical and is now finalising personal terms with the official announcement expected soon.

Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou has expressed his desire to sign an out-and-out striker this summer, stating "It's still the area of the park we're really probably the thinnest when I talk about squad-wise at the moment, so obviously that's a focus for us." Tottenham have been linked with Bournemouth's Dominic Solanke this week and may be about to make their move.

Arsenal
